Hello!

THE MOREAU TOWN BOARD HAS FINALLY APPROVED HAVING A DOG PARK WITHIN THE MOREAU REC PARK! HOORAY!

And welcome to the Town of Moreau Dog Park Initiative Website!
(We are a group that is independent of the Town of Moreau government.)

Our goal is to create a convenient, accessible, safe, contained, off-leash exercise area - a "dog park"
 - where responsible dog owners FROM ALL COMMUNITIES can exercise and socialize their dogs (family members) in the 
Moreau Town Park.

We do not desire to "recreate the wheel" here with our effort! According to an expert in the field, there are THOUSANDS OF successful, off-leash dog parks through-out the country, most of which are supported by their 
resident communities! A dog park in a community is a "win-win" for dog owners 
and non-owners alike...yes, really!

This initiative is open to residents of the Town of Moreau as well as local residents outside of the Town of Moreau. The Dog Park Committee would like to make the dog park accessible to everyone. So PLEASE let us know what you think and we welcome your support! PLEASE COMPLETE THE ON-LINE SURVEY UNDER "HOW YOU CAN HELP"!
